LOCAL COURSE RULES & IMPORTANT COURSE INFORMATION

 

- Anything beyond the external boundaries of the FootGolf course is out of bounds.

 

- All bunkers are in play and must be played as a hazard kick. All bunkers are to be raked to the best of the players ability, failure to do this will result in a 1 stroke penalty

 

- Football Colours are not permitted under any circumstances. Players will not be allowed to participate in the event if wearing any football colours. If a player is found to be wearing football colours whilst playing on the course, this will result in a DQ. 
 

Hole 1 - Anything beyond the fence on the right hand side is considered out of bounds

Hole 3 - White stakes both far left and right of the rough. Anything beyond these stakes is deemed Out of Bounds. 

Hole 7 - White Stakes to the right of the pond, this is in play and anything beyond these stakes is deemed Out of Bounds. 

Hole 8 - White Stakes to the right hand side, this is in play and anything beyond theses stakes is deemed Out of Bounds.

Hole 17 - White Stakes in the rough to the right hand side of the fairway. Anything beyond these stakes is deemed Out of Bounds

Hole 17 cont. - Any players playing from the Men's tee who cannot make the shot up the slope can go to the Ladies/Junior Tee for a + 1 penalty. If you decide to do this from the tee you will be playing your 3rd shot from this area. 

Hole 18 - Anything to the right of the fence is deemed Out of Bounds. The left hand ditch is to be deemed as a hazard area. 

 

ALL DITCHES AND WATER HAZARDS - ALL HAZARDS ARE TO BE PLAYED AS BELOW

  1. If your ball is deemed to be playable, you can play from these areas but the shot must be played with a hazard kick.

  2. Play the ball from where the last hit was executed with +1 penalty stroke.

  3. Drop the ball from the point where the ball crossed the water hazard/ditch's margin for the last time within a two meter distance but not closer to the hole with +1 penalty stroke. 

 

HOLE LIDS/COVERS

If you are within 20 meters of the hole and a hole lid/cover is in your direct line to the hole you may take free relief with your nearest point of relief +1metre without going closer to the hole. This is applicable if your ball is in the green zone, fairway and rough. You do not get relief if your ball is in a bunker or hazard area. 

 

HOLE CUPS:

Players are not allowed to step inside any hole cups. Any player who breaks this rule will receive: 1st instance = Warning, 2nd instance = +1 penalty, 3rd instance = DQ
