LOCAL COURSE RULES & IMPORTANT COURSE INFORMATION
Hole 1
If your ball fails to go beyond the road, you can either return to your tee shot or go to the drop zone which is the women's tee box. Both instances results in a +1 penalty
Hole 3
From the new elevated tee position, any balls which finish to the right hand side of the white lines next to the path is deemed to have gone out of bounds. You must return to the previous shot with a +1 penalty.
Hole 4
Sprinkler/drainage near hole sprayed white. Relief from this if its ball and/or stance. If this area is in your direct line to the hole and you're within 20m of the hole you may take relief but you must be on the green, fringe or fairway.
Hole 5
- There is a large area of GUR on the right hand side of the fairway and rough leading towards the whole. This area is clearly marked and marked of with stakes and ropes. Under no circumstance can you play your ball from this area (includes stance), you can take free relief to the nearest point + 2 meters whilst not going closer to the hole.
- There is a drain just beyond 3meters from the hole which is sprayed white. If this area is in your direct line to the hole and you're within 20m of the hole you may take relief but you must be on the green, fringe or fairway.
Hole 9
If your ball comes to rest on the golf green, you cannot play your ball from here. Players must take their ball to the nearest point of relief off of the golf green to the fringe and play their shot from there. Any player playing from this golf green will result in a +1 penalty.
Hole 13
An area of GUR is clearly marked off with stakes and rope, this area is an old bunker which is currently being filled in with soil. Under no circumstance can you play your ball from this area, you can take free relief to the nearest point + 2 meters whilst not going closer to the hole if your ball or stance is in this area. If your ball is on the fairway and this GUR area is in your direct line to the hole you may also take free relief to the nearest point + 2 meters whilst going no closer to the hole.
Holes 16-17
Players must walk to the left hand side of the golf green up to the path with the black and white pole.
HOLE 18 (SATURDAY ONLY)
Is a Par 3 with the tee box being close to the 1st tee box. Please follow the signs for the fastest route to the hole
Hole 18 (SUNDAY ONLY)
- Is a Par 5 with the tee situated at the elevated tee position playing down the hill. Please follow the signs for the fastest route to the hole.
- If a player's ball passes the ROAD beyond the green players have the option to either play the ball as it lies or take a free drop at the sprayed Drop Zone
- If you feel your ball is unplayable after your tee shot, their is an optional drop box you can play from for a +1 penalty. This drop box is shared with the Women's tees. Players who do not wish to take the tee shot can go straight to the drop box (ladies tees) but will be playing their 3rd shot from this area.
- The white stakes are NOT in play on the right hand side of the fairway. You may play your shot if you've gone beyond the white stakes and the white stakes are allowed to be removed prior to playing your shot.
GOLF GREENS:
Unless playing a shot, players are required to not walk on golf greens. This is to protect the greens, course condition & aid drainage.
HOLE CUPS:
Players are not allowed to step inside any hole cups. Any player who breaks this rule will receive: 1st instance = Warning, 2nd instance = +1 penalty, 3rd instance = DQ
BADGER DAMAGE:
If a player's ball lands in an area of the course damaged by badgers they are permitted to move their ball out of the damaged area at the nearest point +2m.
